Default lighter mud tires?

I'm looking for new 35" mud tires, but lighter than the km2's (68 lbs)

Any help? Nb: I don't want AT tires (like the Duratrac, etc)

Well. All I can say is I don't notice the weight of my km2's much. And I love em. They are worth the weight. at least your not looking into toyos. They are 98lbs before wheel!

No, the weight of the 35" x 16" Toyo is 76.1 lbs
(I think it's the heaviest 35" tire)

And, the weight of the 35" KM2 is 68 lbs

Goodyear MTR Kevlar's are also supposed to be another light MT tire. Might check those out too.

If weight is your main concern another alternated would be to look at different rim sizes. If you go with a 15" aluminum rim and 35x12.5 KM2s you probably have the lightest combo out there.

KM2's 35 x 12.5 x 15 = 61 lbs because they are a load range C
15" aluminum rim approx 22-24 lbs

Total around 85 pounds per corner

Also 15" tire are much cheaper you can probably get tire and rim for the same price as a 17" tire alone.

Just some other thoughts

Interesting, but I think that the only 15" rim that can fit on a JK is the MB 72? Right?
Is it made of steel or alum ?

Also, I read somewhere in this forum a sponsor selling this combo at a very cheap price. Which one?
