Default Lifetime warranty, wandering, track bar, tie rods, etc

Just got off the phone with Adams jeep in Aberdeen, they needed to do my 5 year powertrain warranty inspection and an oil change.
when i dropped it off I told them I was having some issues with it wandering and wanted to see if they could check the toe in and see if it was off.
They said that the tie rod bushing and track bar bushings were worn out, and that I needed new tire rods, track bar, bushings, etc. AND that it would cost me $1700 bucks to get it all done! First, i don't think all that is wrong with it, and second, that seems ridiculous for just those things.
I'm not going to have that done, and I know it's a stealership, but seriously, IF i wanted that stuff replaced, wouldn't it be a ton cheaper?
I have a mechanic that I think I'm going to just take it to can look over with him and probably end up just adjusting the toe in and/or alignment on the front.

WRT the lifetime warranty, they said it checks out, but they need to make a note of all the things that were loose in the suspension in case anything comes up that could be effected by that.
I should have kept my mouth shut when i dropped it off, they probably wouldn't have said anything.
I also think its crap that I had the lift installed there, and sold to me with a "lifetime warranty" so in my opinion it should get fixed by them.

thanks for listening to my rant.

I doubt the track bar bushings are worn out, especially if it's all torqued properly.

Tie rid ends are not that expensive and your mechanic can probably install them very quickly. Have him double check if they need replacing.

Hell, I'd give you my factory track bar for free if yours is worn out.

Look up threads on replacing the track bar bolts(14mm) with 9/16" bolts. It's a tighter fit that seems to help some people out.

They wanted to do upper and lower joints too and wanted $676 for that. Geesh. I'm going to do it all myself or not worry about it. I also asked them to show me on mine and then show me a new '12, there was virtually no difference in the movement of any of the pieces. But according to them I can't see it or feel it you have to use a pry bar.???
