Yes I am and yep, Giez is still here. He's on midnight shift with me.

 

 

I'm on the left. This was taken in Beaumont, TX during Katrina/Rita in 2005. We had a 4x4 ambulance with us, but did not get to use the 4x4 for anything. You can see all of the lovebugs (I think that is what they are called) on the front of the truck - I think we picked them up in MS or LA.

 

Looks like alot of emergency services types around here.....cool.

No quints here in Shreveport. We looked into them years ago but our union had it shot down. They said that it was a personel issue. Getting rid of the ladder trucks. If we were running quints out of one station then there would be no reason for trucks. Sounds stup I know. lol

Here ya go!!!! See, ever since I got it, it has never come off!!! I swear! Really! I'm serious...

We're just about to get a platform truck within the year. Can't wait to see that puppy. As for quints, we just recieved 2 new quints for a grand total of 7.

By the way, you have a beautifull family! I thought I was lucky to have a girl but you have 2.

 

We have 2 main cities within our county. Port Saint Lucie and Fort Pierce. We have a county-wide system of fire and ems combined. So far we are running 17 rescues, 7 quints, 1 ARFF, 12 engines, 12 brush trucks, 4 tankers, 2 special op's, 2 special event's (golf cart) rescues, 1 agusta air rescue, out of 15 stations with 2 on the way.
