Is there something wrong with these hoods? I've never done it on my JK but I always used to sit on the hood of my YJ...just gotta make sure nothing on your backside will scratch it.

It will indeed. Me and the wife sat on the hood of my Jeep and were hanging drinkin one night. And the next morning I saw 2 nice sized dents and ended up pushing butt prints out of my hood.

I just saw the new " rock crawling" version. I love how they hammer it off the last "rock" for dramatic effect. Easy buddy! It's crawlin' not haulin'!!!

Very thin sheet metal. I take mine through the local touchless "LaserWash" car wash and when the dryer passes over the hood, I watch large dimples appear and disappear.

I happened to run into Lenny in an elevator at a local hospital down here in South Fla (his mom was a patient there) and , by my estimate, he is only about 5'6" tall. So maybe not enough weight to dent the hood?

he's not really sitting on the hood, otherwise that thing would've caved in quickly.
