I believe that Virginia is the only state where Chrysler cannot sell the Liberty equipped with those lights.

I had the light bar on my Liberty and drove it 3 years without the covers on. Never had a problem. No problem yet with my windshield mounted Hella's with the grill type covers.

I've been told this Liberty model with the roof lites CANNOT be registered in the state of WEST VIGINIA, because of poaching (night hunting or spotlighting). Anybody from WVA want to comment?

The liberty could not be sold in Pa in 07 and most of 06 with those lights also,, Same with the chevy s-10 baja a few years back.. the Pa ones had the lights in the box on the floor.. If the owner wanted them They could install them.. No lights over 52" unless its an emercency vehicle.. They even stipulate against those KC speaker lights.. as they simulate lights..

A friend of mine has this same set up here in VA no problems. But then again
they keep the covers on the lights.

Dont blame the LEO's!! they enforce the laws that are created buy the idiots that WE vote into office! Get rid of the idiots that keep getting re-elected and the cycle of stupidity will end!

We have Rendell,, biggest douche in PA history! repealed helmet law and brought gambling to every corner of the state promising to abolish the property tax,, well,, property tax relief is only for those in the immediate areas of the casinos,, and they got a whopping $400 buck off,, whoohoo!!

Just to add,, first death blamed on no helmet came within 10 minutes of the law taking effect,, a rider on I-95 was struck and killed by a small piece of road debris that hit him in the head.. It keeps getting worse.. I believe in choice but I'm a rider too and no helmets just doesn't make sense! No helmets but we need seat belts and doors!

Default In NH...

In NH, any light above the bumper (not headlights, of course) needs to be covered.
