I've had it rain heavily in my TJ a few times with no ill effects. Have any of you had issues with the clockspring going bad in the JK's?

Big reason to pull the carpet and bedline the interior. But when this happened to me I just put the top down & window open with the floor mats pulled out for a day and it dried out pretty quick. I was pleasantly surprised to how fast it dried.
