You will never get your moneys worth unless you part it out. I had a 2 door and it was great, this time I will be going with a 4 door. A wife now and kids not too far down the road, I'm gonna need the space.

I am working a deal right now to trade in my 2-door '07 for a 4-door '08 because of a growing family. Right now there are $2000 rebates plus $500 bonus cash and I have a $500 military rebate.
I still lost quite a bit on trade in, but I am going to remove all the parts I bought for the 2-door. Anything that won't fit on the new Jeep will be sold, and at least I will get some of my money back.
The slide/no-tilt front seat design in the JK is the worst I have seen for access to the back seat. It's the main reason for the trade up to the 4-door.

I've had a TJ and now have the 4 door JK. There is so much room in the 4 door to carry gear or just pick up larger items from the store. I think the added weight of the 4 door also makes the ride better on the streets! I've actually taken the JK on vacations, would have never been able to with a 2 door Jeep.

Amanda like several have said.... If you want a 4dr then get one. Take all parts off the 2dr back to stock. What will fit on the 4dr put it on. What won't fit sell it on here. You will recoup most of your money.
How is the music business going??????

Most parts are interchangeable between the two models....if you must have a 4door then swap stuff around and sell the rest
...on the other hand...having a 2door is a GREAT escape from the kids
