Well when I ordered my sahara it was special order also and I got $3000 off sticker price. So I was looking to get close to that off on the buying end also. I might try another dealer.

what did KBB show as "Good" shape ? Most dealers won't give anyone a "excellent" rating or at least I have never seen it or got it But there is a huge used car market right now so you should get a good trade in value

The problem is that most dealers who have a 2012 model think they can get all the money for them. I would try to make a deal without a trade to get the best deal. Then a day later mention your thinking about a trade. See what happens
Try to sell yours on your own and go back in 6 months. I would think, you would get a much better deal on the new one by then.

Go by CarMax. They will make you an offer in writing for free. take that back to the stealership and use it as leverage. I've used that tactic on the last three vehicles I've bought. Works great. Good luck!
