Ripping out the stock speakers was my first mod also. Don't forgot to replace the tweeters with the Super Tweeters from Quadratec. That made the biggest difference.

Supposed to be really nice here this weekend so Ill finally get to take the top off. Going to pick up my safari mirrors tomorrow too so I can take the doors off as well. Ill take some pics this weekend and put them up.

Thought about the super tweeters but I heard the kickers alone were sufficient, Guess ill find out soon enough.

The Kickers made a big difference, but the highs were still lacking. The Super Tweeters are well worth the cost. The sound is now very clear and crisp.

Me too. just bought my first last October, but had wanted one for soooooooo long! Absolutely love it, especially now that the top has come off several times.
