Just bought my first Jeep...
Finally bought my first Jeep, 2010 Islander (Surf Blue).
Have wanted one since im 16 and here I am 20 years later.
Its definitely fun and my only real complaints are the crappy stock speakers (have the kickers on the way) and the 3 21 gears which Ill need to take care of at a later time but other than that I couldnt be happier with it. I was actually surprised with how nice it looks stock with the MT tires and it even sits up at a decent height...for now.
Ill post some pics when I get some decent ones and Ill try not to ask too many dumb questions without researching first.

Thanks Everyone!
Nah this was an un-planned buy so I took it off the lot otherwise I would have opted for the upgraded stereo and the 3 73's. Maybe Ill like them a little better when I figure out where the actual powerband is.

the beauty of 3.21s is first gear takes you all the way to 25mph, and the 2000rpms at 70mph.. its very relaxing to drive compared to the 3.73 and 4.10 i have also had in this Jeep. its the closest thing to an automatic you will get.

Congrats on the new JK. I have no issues with the stock 32" tires and 3.21 gears ... especially when offroad in 4-LO. However once you start going to 33/35" wheels your gonna want 4.10+ ...

Congrats! You will love it!
Enjoy the weather... at least take the top down/off...
Let it break in. you'll see some difference after the break in point at 3k or so.

This is so funny..I'm in the same boat...wanted a wrangler since I was 16...am 34 now. I have owned 4 other jeeps (3 Gr Cherokee's, 1 liberty, and last month I finally got my first wrangler...and I couldn't be happier.
