NOBODY should drive a JK over 70mph. It's a jeep Buy a sports car if you wanna GO FAST If your JK is stock then it's easy to go over 70 but still

Lifted jeeps are meant to be driven with a little style and slower in my opinion

Default flying brick

Had mine up to 95 on I-35 with bad pavement and a crosswind. It was all over ther road. I had to slow down and let the 2 minivans I was following go. I was so ashamed.

Mostly cruise 75-80 on the interstate, a little faster if someone will lead the parade.

I set my cruise control at 65... and get 22-24 MPG driving it that way... if I go 70 I only get 18-20 MPG... 75 I get 14-16 MPG... I dont want to try 80... 65 is fine by me..

after-all I have SIRIUS... 6 MP3 DVD's in the dash (about 28 gigs of music).. and another 120 Gigs of music in the glovebox on the iPOD.. so im not in a hurry to get anywhere....

oh yeah and 4 doors in a pile behind the back seat... along with the top....

I have to agree......that's "white knuckle driving" in a Jeep.

In my GTI that's a typical speed limit on the highway............j/k

This being my first Wrangler I am not quite sure what a safe speed to get around on the Interstate is.

I have nearly new Goodyear SRA 17'' tires and every other componet is standard.

Thanks Folks!
My vote would be no more than 10 over the limit.... your wallet will thank you (gas mileage)

I set the cruise at about 78-80 mph. However, I have also hit 100 several times. I drove 95 mph for about an hour without any problems.... the hood flutter was scaring me!!
