I have had a CCW permit in AZ for 12 years & just got my 3rd renewal. This time around (no law class, no range time, no fingerprint card, etc...,) just a fee and the updated paperwork.
I have been using a Kimber ultra-carry .45 for the last 5 years.

Good to hear az.hunter. Here in AL we have never had to take any of that stuff. Although I personally visit the range regularly myself, I'm sure many gun owners don't.

although we have numerous weapons, my wife and i each carry Grendel P-30's with 5 extra 30 shot mag's in each vehicle. for those of you not familiar with Grendel P-30's, they are .22 magnums. firepower is a wonderful thing.

I regularly carry a CZ-75D 9mm, commonly known to us CZ'ers as the PCR. I'm looking for another summer carry gun now, though. I carried a Kel-Tec p32 for a while (gotta love the belt clip), then sold it and got a PPK/S. Unfortunately, the PPK/S was unreliable, so I got rid of it. Thinking of maybe a Kahr CW9. They seem to be the perfect size.
