I'm an admin on a model railroad forums and none of them allow advertising of forums of any other kind. It's just kinda always been the policy.

FB is not a forum, i dont know how many times to say this - what has been created is a simple group for people who are on the social networking site already to express an interest in the same thing and post a pic of their "pride and joy" if they wish

its not a discussion board, like a forum is, neither is it topically/thread driven like a forum is either
