The diesel version of the JK is a joke: NO POWER OFF-ROAD!!!

If you read french, go to the french 4X4 forum, and you will understand why

Sorry, I'm an ignorant Brit and I don't read French. But I have driven diesel XJ's, WG's and JK's offroad (manual and automatics) and they have all performed well compared to my benchmark gasoline 4.0L I6 XJ.

I tried to search for the French 4x4 Forum posting but I couldn't find anything specifically about the JK CRD. I was using Google's translation tool to do this which isn't as good as querying in the native language.

GAMEDOG 08 JK CRD
220HP and 510Nm Torque

Nice. That converts to 376 lbft of torque! You can probably idle over most obstacles.

Sorry to insist: It's the same diesel engine in France. I read the French forum, and one thing I can tell you: This Jk version has NO POWER!!! But, if you want to save gas and don't care about off-road performance, it's for you.
Americans like POWER, I don't think this Wrangler is for USA
