I really try not to think about that. I fill up 2-3 times a week with a round-trip to work of 46 miles, plus the standard kids to school, practice, whatever.

Sorry if that came off as glib, but seriously, the driving I do is driving that I have to do. Gas prices won't impact me, so I don't bother to track them.

I'm between JK's right now, but I still have my 06 Wrangler Rubitrux. All of em are/were/will be used as daily drivers.

I had to read that twice 'cause I thought it said "Mine is strictly for picking up moms at soccer practice' at first. . . which honestly sounds more fun

also a DD for my wife, made a deal with her to keep her car so she didnt have to drive Jeep to work.
Now I cant get her out of the JK, have to force her to drive her car before the battery dies after months of sitting.
I have to schedule to drive it if she isnt with me.

I even asked her what the next vehicle she would like to buy (we always keep the Jeeps) and she said "another JK". I told her we would keep the one we have and she said "no need to buy one then, unless you want two". Although this would be great it is difficult to haul the whole family in the Jeep.

I drive mine every day to work and everywhere else that I want go. I sold my second vehicle was sold to help in getting my Jeep so this is all I have right now. And I still take it out on the trails when ever I get the chance.

I bought my JK end of June this year. It is my DD. I put almost 90 miles a day back and forth to work and have not had any issues. I have mostly freeway to and from work so I get almost 20 miles to the gallon. I traded an 04 F-150 with 171,000 for the JK and have no regrets.

DD for sure I find excuses to drive my Jeep even if I dont have to go anywhere! Especially since I dont have that long a commute to work and back everyday around 15 miles total.
