Folks, I'm trying to put together a comprehensive JK color chart. Here's what I've got so far. I'm sure there are errors. Please point them out and, once we've collected some feedback, I'll update this and make it more readable.

Also, if you know of a really nice photo of a particular color (preferably stock, so we can compare apples to apples), please post that too.

Early JKs were available in a color called Graystone. I lumped it in with the browns. Were you thinking of something different?

Based on this, Jeep likes to maintain about 10 JK colors most of the time.

Jeep also likes to drop about 3 colors per year.

If past trends hold, we should see 3 colors dropped and 4 added for 2013 (because we're currently at 9 colors).

We'll almost certainly see a new Blue for 2013 since there's not one out right now, and a brownish color called Dune is rumored as well. There were rumors of a Volcano Edition for 2012 involving a color called Molten Red. If that hits next year, then:

[Again, rumors are more Earth tones for 2013, so I'd count on the blue being fairly dark. The fourth color could be a mossy Green, or perhaps the return of Jeep Green. There is precedent for this since Jeep brought back Detonator Yellow for 2011.]

True Blue may be one of the new Wrangler colors. You've done some good speculation about new colors.
