Any new from Off raod Only??

They advertise that they will be testing the new lift for 2 weeks but it will be more than a month (or I'm too exited to see) and no update. They probably have more to do in the shop than on their web site but I'm curious to see how it will go. Since my wife is only 5'1'', this could be a very good option since they tell that 2'' of drop can be acheive for ingress/egress. Seems good to compensate for the tire.

There was a post on ROF with pics of this. I posted on this earlier on show and tell, where people were standing beside their jeeps. It is the "ultimate". There are lots of TJ Rubi's running the Nth 6" LA with Airock (Big time $$$$$). What I am wondering is if it will be compatible with other lifts. Only time will tell.

For those of you that don't mind spending some serious cash on a very quality suspenion system, you should check out the link above (you might have to register to the site, but its worth it).

Gives good info and pics of the Airock system. For ex., running 37's, the height that you would be entering the jeep is only 1.5" higher than stock.

what are the advantages on something like this. It seems to me that it would break or something would go wrong with it, then your stuck. Just seems to make the simple "jeep" even more complicated...am i wrong

I am not the most knowledgable person about the system, but generally it allows you the ability to run larger tires and keep your COG as low as possible. It also gives you the ability to adjust your height in off camber situations. On the highway, the computer monitors ride height and adjusts it according to speed, cornering, etc (this I would double check on at ORO website). I don't know that I have ever heard of anyone "popping" a bag. Everyone that has one, seems to rave about it.

This all sounds fantastic to me in theory, so I checked out the website... but OMG that's SOOOOOOO expensive... no way that'd EVER get past the "house appropriations committee" (aka the wife). Sounds good, though!

I know of only 2 bag failures. Both were due to installation 1 was due to shocks not supplied by ORO, this was real early and another was due to not cutting a web on the shock tower as per the instructions, so none that I know of due to actual wheeling. I know some of the guys that run this in the rocks hard. I ran mine in the swamps down here, where sticks are common obstacles.
