So call it an even $10K + labor.
I think the bill had 10hrs of labor (but I had Dennis tweek some other stuff while he was under there - 3 skids, tow brackets, tire carrier etc). I don't think he charged me for sawzall'ing off my bumper
I'd expect the labor charges to drop once the installers become familiar with this kit.

AndyR,
Thanks for the breakdown. I'm interested in how you like the ride at all the way down, and all the way up? I was just pitching this to my wife and her first comment was that it didn't look practical for everyday driving..........however I'd like to have some ammunition. She fully supports my Jeep habit, but I'd like for her to feel comfortable driving it.

I never did understand why a man needs to ask a woman before he spends his money. Seems the woman should be happy with a roof over her head, food on the table, and man to keep her warm at night.

It's a matter of respect. Before I go and spend $10,000 on Jeep toys I want to make sure it's going to be exactly what I'm looking for so that I didn't just waste $10k that my wife and I could have used on a vacation, an investment or something that she may have wanted. I don't ask my wife if I can buy something, however I do discuss expensive purchases with her out of respect. Hope this view point helps you see where some of us married couples come from. Aloha, Jason
I know wear your coming from.

My wife is the finance coordinator for the college, so justifying spending $5500 for AiROCK along with $3000 for rims and tires was a little difficult, but I managed to cover half of that with selling stuff off of the old TJ. Oh and buying her a new Honda didn't hurt..
