JK in a 5 car pile up today

Yeah I'm surprised the airbags didn't go off, but I'm glad they didn't. I didn't get hurt at all, not even a red mark from the seat belt, the Jeep took the impact well, I like that it's not like a car with the crumple zones built in to cave in during a crash, if I had been in my Cherokee I might have been getting towed home (uniframe). I feel very safe in my Jeep now. Not sure what the factory cage would do in a roll though.

I've never had a ticket and this was my first wreck so I hope they aren't going to stick it to me to hard. The girl with the VW took the little VW tag but I have some of her tail light in my grill haha. Haven't had the Jeep for 2 months and already wrecked it Luckily I wont have to pay to fix anything on the Jeep so that'll save me some money. I'll get a new bumper one day (if anyone has a stock one they wanna sell....)
oh and everyone involved in the wreck said they want a Jeep now

Good luck though man I have heard of it not effecting your rate.

Last week a car pulled out in front of me while I was doing 50. No time to react and I was in a TJ, but rolling it 3 times with a soft top and not a scratch on me. If the TJ can do that, I'm not worried about the JK I just bought. Jeeps are tough, dont let their size fool you. Glad to hear you made it without injury.

Got in a wreck today. Was driving along and everyone was going the speed limit. looked down for 2 seconds (not to text haha) and looked back up and I was approaching a VW Jetta at 50mph. Down shifted, slammed on the breaks, and swerved off the road but it wasnt fast enough. Rammed the VW and since this was rush hour and everyone was tail gaiting everyone it pushed into 4 other cars. 5 cars total including my jeep. Had my seat belt on, air bags didn't deploy, jeep took it like a champ."
Not to flame but it's clowns like you that I fear most when I am riding (motorcycle 20,000 miles a year, freeway commuting, travel all over the East Coast and Appalachians).
Personnally I hope your insurance company hangs you. Can you tell I really, really hate cagers who can't control their vehicles.
If a biker was in that mix, would you still think it was funny? You screwed up big time. My view you ought to try walking for a year.
