Well... I don't like to brag, but once I started a South American revolution and swam down the Amazon into Brazil to escape it, built a rocket in my garage and took it into orbit, jumped off the Sears tower with an umbrella and turned down a threesome because it sounded boring. I would never be able to stand the adventure of owning a Land Rover though; a Land Rover dealership is just too damn big to fit in the trunk when I want to go camping.

I believe sometimes people just think too deep on stuff that don't really matter (at least IMO).
Are you satisfied with your Jeep? Keep it. Dissatisfied? Get rid of it.
Friends and family know I am immature when it comes to automobiles, always have been. At 53 that has not changed. They accept me as I am. Never payed any attention to what other motorist think of what I drive. I drive it because it is fun, and I simply don't care what they think.
Almost any advertising is hype. If you actually bother to watch that bs, laugh at it. It only means something if you buy into it.
Life is too short to worry about that kind of crap. Too much deep thinking. Stop it!
