Oh, and I'm just having fun with this thread. If at all practical, I say Jeep. Proud to own one. But I do get puzzled looks from those LR, Toy, and Nissan owners when I slip up and refer to our Jeeps. LOL.

BTW: When I lived on Guam, if it had 4WD, the locals called it a Jeep. Really pissed off my roommate because he owned the only Jeep on the island.

The DMV here calls them SUVs. Of course in Ohio we don't have SUV plates so they give them car plates.

Here in Washington, we have plates specifically for trucks. Jeeps get car plates. So do SUV's.

If you cant haul 4'x8' plywood or sheetrock in it, it isn't a truck.

Around my area in southwestern Ontario, a lot of us call our jeeps, jeeps or rigs.

It may have been true once upon a time but these are the twenty-teens. These days a truck is a huge, options heavy, cushy leather trimmed yuppie-mobile with a giant cargo bed out back that has nary a scratch in it, nor will you find chunks of dried mud packed between the frame and body or unsightly pebbles stuck between the huge shiny mudder treads.

Now a Jeep is something else...
