Oh, and I'm just having fun with this thread. If at all practical, I say Jeep. Proud to own one. But I do get puzzled looks from those LR, Toy, and Nissan owners when I slip up and refer to our Jeeps. LOL.
BTW: When I lived on Guam, if it had 4WD, the locals called it a Jeep. Really pissed off my roommate because he owned the only Jeep on the island.

It may have been true once upon a time but these are the twenty-teens. These days a truck is a huge, options heavy, cushy leather trimmed yuppie-mobile with a giant cargo bed out back that has nary a scratch in it, nor will you find chunks of dried mud packed between the frame and body or unsightly pebbles stuck between the huge shiny mudder treads.
Now a Jeep is something else...
