I would get the Rubicon. If you are planning to do some off roading, both will work fine.

Definitely the Rubi, if I would have bought mine new and not used it would have been a Rubi.

Go Rubi. I wouldn't put out the $ for a Sahara. If I'm payin' that much, I'd put a couple more $K into it and get the Rubi.

A case can be made for the X. I might even canx my order for the Rubi and get an X, but it'll be about $7k cheaper. If I do that, then I'm thinkin' Avenger, Clayton, Evolution Offroad, and 35's right off the bat. Rock Jock 60's and 37's about a year or two down the line. V8 swap about 5 years down the road.

not even close, a rubi is a stock off road beast and you give nothing up on the pavement. it rides nice and long trips are no issue at all.

the first time you scratch one of those painted fenders you will be pissed off.

It seems obvious.......the Rubi! We love ours and use it off road a lot. Don't regret it at all, best decision we've ever made for a vehicle.

Got a chance to drive both back to back, on the freeway that I drive to work everyday.

The Rubi was louder and had a more harsher ride, so we are going to get the Sahara.

If this was going to be my third car, I would not doubt get the Rubi, and it looks better.

I drove both an opted for the Sahara as I felt that had a better ride - it's my DD. My neighbor has the Rubi and I still prefer the Sahara. Also, with the 4-speed auto, sounds like you're looking at 2011 so I would recommend you drive a 2012. I drove both and ended up with a 2012 as they're more powerful.
