Get the Rubicon you will be happy with the options-performance.
The sahara has color coded fenders and plastic side steps.
rubicon has real rocker protection, lockers Front and rear, electric disconnect for swaybar, better tranfer case and additional protection on the bottom (could still use some more)

I'd go with (and did go with) the Sahara -- not one thing I wanted on the Rubi... I'd bet that the Sahara is going to have more appeal for resale to the bulk of the JK market (non-off-road junkies)...
That said -- going to get into offroading bigtime?? OF COURSE GET THE RUBI!

The two big differences I see is the LSD vs Lockers and the 4LO ratio.
The Sahara you listed has a Limited Slip Differential that is always on so to speak. It would be useful on slippery/snow covered roads and trails. And by trails I mean old dirt roads or logging trails, not dried up stream beds or rock gardens.
The Lockers on the Rubi can only be activated when in 4LO. For some this may be a disadvantage. (same with the e-disco too I think )
The 4LO ratio of the Ruby is 4:1 while the Sahara is 2.72:1. I read an article in JP magazine where the author said the 4:1 was too low for his type of wheeling.
I guess if it is going to be more of a daily driver, the Sahara is good out of the box. But if you want to do some Rock Crawling straight out of the box then go with the Rubicon.
In my opinion, there is nothing other than some heavy duty rock crawling that that the stock Rubicon can do that the stock Sahara can't. (Especially with some BFG KMs )
And having said all that, I wish I could of gotten 4.10 axle ratio on my Sahara and may consider adding a D44 front.
