h ttp://www.brownsjeepchryslerdodge.com/used/Jeep/2007-Jeep-Wrangler-Patchogue-Long-Island-b0734e630a0d064901405ea927bd597a.htm

for those that don't feel like clicking the link these are the specs on it

'07 2dr Jk Rubicon
4 Walker Evans Beadlock Rims
4 Mickey Thompson 315/70/17 AT Tires
Not sure about what lift it may have
43,xxx miles

The thing that has me questioning it is the price: $18,000

Is this too good to be true?

I'd say go for it! but check thinks like skid plate, if it's dented bad you'll know it's been abused, hows the tailgate? loose tartly? then it's probably been abused. but even with abuse that's a good price

Just because a skid plate is dented doesn't mean it has been abused. Mine looks like a roller coaster and it's been used, never abused. This is what happens when you play on the rocks.

First, go look at it. There can be something not in the pictures that warrants to low price. Take it to a shop you trust for an inspection. If you like it and are worried about mechanical issues, ask about a warantee. If everything looks good, offer them $15,250 for it. Work you way up from there.

The VIN checks out as a Rubicon and seems to be clean.

Crank windows suck but everything else looks ok

Lift looks basic. If the beadlocks are real (I am not familiar with the brand) they are not legal in most states but if you are willing to do the maintance on them they have their place.

Tires look worn and there are only 4 (Cheep guy did not replace the spare)

KBB says it is worth 21K +/- so it books good.

BUY IT!

Good advice. The dealer is selling it certified pre-owned so I assume it has some sort of warantee. I'm going to take my buddy with me who's an ase mechanic to take a look at it again. Any other advice on specific things to look for on a used jeep will be greatly appreciated

Check the Tcase linkage. Ask if they'll throw in 4 new Rubicon Takeoffs to offest the expense of new tires soon.

Cert. Pre-owned should have all tires matching. Sooooo if the spares different then have them match or they lose money off their certified price.
