When you take the plugs out see if it will crank and possibly push any water out of your cylinders.

Not if there's water in the airbox, you could pull all the plugs out and see if the engine will turn over and blow the water out. Was your filter damp aswell?

I have an open CAI and jumped into a puddle one time i sucked up a s**t load of water, she died immediately. i stalled out in about 20 inches of water in the middle of this pond, it had taken me like 10 cranks and she finally turned over. so i dont think it the water damage because mine pushed whatever water was in her out, i think its an electrical problem. also when your battery is almost dead it does the same thing. just clicks.

take the hose from the air box to the engine off, it is a large rubber hose, 3-4 inches. If there is water spots in that you maybe got water in the engine. When the jeep died, did it sputter and just die, or did it make a violent knocking sound? If it just died, and you heard/felt your engine slowly sputter out and cut off, I would say you are fine but if you engine went from 2k rmps to 0 in a second you may need to worry... try the spark plugs and give us some more info...

How deep, how fast, how far did you make it? Stock air box?
