I think you should google it, but its basically a mom with kids who uses the jeep instead of a mini-van. There are other descriptions but I wont go there

You should become acquainted with the urban dictionary. Without it, I wouldn't be able to understand my college student son half the time. LOL.

Urban Dictionary Definition of Soccer Mom

Personally, I think definition 2 is closer to the mark.

That #2 definition missed one little fashion point......

No offense taken or attempt to squash the thread, goldtr8. I was just commenting that the subject of JKs and the associated decline of Jeep culture has been, and will continue to be, a subject of lament among those who "understand the Jeep thing."

CJ7 -> 4-door JK for me, since I have 3 kids and a wife to drag kicking and screaming into the cold rain of Michigan ORV trails in late October.

My 3 year old son reminds me all the time, he waves to the ones on the right and I wave to oncoming ones. He's extended the "wave" to anything with a tire on the back, gotta break him of that

Default Sad but true

When I got my new JK, I knew all about the Jeep Wave. I wore my arm out waving to all things jeep. Liberty's, Patriots, Cherokees and of course JK's...my daughter and I found out really quick that everyone on the road driving a jeep was not aware of the required jeep wave. A little frustrating as me and my oldest cruise in the Rubi.

I did however get quite a few more looks and waves after a few hours on the trails Saturday. I think it was because my new Stone White Rubi was covered in mud

I think that grabbed a little more attention.

I agree that there are an awful lot of Jeeps out there substituting for the mini van. Can't say as I blame 'em, but the Jeeps are not living the life they were made for

I'll keep waving myself though.... happy Jeeping
