My waves are usually never returned here in Denver if I've got my hard top on, but it's a different story if I run without the top and doors.

I think if we just keep :waving:, it'll eventually catch on. I think I heard the same then happened when the yj came out from the cj crowd.

 

its odd for women to wave also.
i freak out when they do.

 

I tend to get the 1 finger wave, but not when they are holding on to their wheel and usually not from other Jeepers! Maybe it's the way I drive?

 

Having owned my Rubi for only a few days, I've been trying to extract a wave from the plethora of Wranglers driving around. Haven't gotten one so far! Passed like 30 of them!

I wave to all Wranglers, and off road built Jeeps. I wave no matter what. I do not follow the "Wave Heirarchy" nor do I stop because I didn't get waved back to. Usually it is two finger peace sign above the wheel, others it is out the door, full hand and arm. Keep waving and others will catch on.

 

I had an 08 2 dr and now have an 09 unlimited, I wave to all Wranglers and CJ's, most 2 dr's wave back but I find alot of 4 dr's don't. I will continue to wave whether I get a wave back or not.

 

when i left the jeep show in PA this weekend i rattled off like 40 waves in 5 minutes....it felt amazing

 

ya the dc metro area is not a big jeep waving area... i think other cars think we are throwin up gang signs in the bad area or somethin, but dc traffic has always been terrible

 

Success! I got a wave from an old dude in an older yellow rig! I kind of had to force it out of him. He was oncoming, on a winding road and he waved when he saw my hand out the window, but you could tell it wasn't his first instinct.

I will work on others tonight!
