I think half of the guys that DO wave back are surprised that I waved at them to begin with... it could be because I look like a 40yr old banker in a bone-stock looking Jeep (subtle mods like stubby bumper and cut fenders are hard to notice) but its all good... I'll keep waving and maybe one of these days "bitches be wavin back"
Women wave at me. I dunno. Haha. Most aren't even in Jeeps.

There have been times when I'm driving the minivan and forget that I don't have the Jeep and wave anyway. They probably think I'm nuts. Some actually wave back.
Heres a funny for you..... the other day I was with my boyfriend as a passanger in his Toyota Tacoma and I waved at a passing JEEP.... ha ha ha we both laughed so hard... It is somewhat natural for me to wave now; and I did it and didnt even realize it until he looked at me like " what are you doing" ha ha ha totally cracked us up.. I love to wave and be waved at.... I have JEEP pride and love my JEEP more than any other vehicle I have ever owned!

Love the jeep wave! But I've noticed here in Ontario more Jeepers tend to wave on the nicer days when everyone's topless.

I'm working in hawaii for a few months and we rent a jk once or twice a week to go hiking etc. There are so many people renting jeeps out here that dont or have never owned one that no body waves. I still wave but very rarely get a response. There are some fun roads out here, it'd be nice to have my Rubicon out here, but she's in storage at home!

I'm on military installation. Tons of jeeps. Most are kitted out. Most wave. Waving is cool but good nite some of you ppl get a bit too excited over it. You may look at burning off your excitement... at say.. the gym. Ha. Just sayin.

My 1st car was a 1963 Willys CJ-5 with a Buick V-8. It was 1980 and I was just out of high school, working at Knott's Berry Farm. I noticed the 1st day people in other Jeeps waving as I went by. I loved it! I took to it easily. I am now 52 and just got my 4th Jeep, and I still keep the wave spirit going on my end. They seem to wave more when you are topless and/or modded.

Is there an official Jeep Wave? like the Harley guys that have their official "point at the center line" wave.
I've always done the steering wheel flap wave, or occasionally the Beverly Hillbillies Howdy. Always wondered if there was a certain way we are supposed to wave.

Everyone does it different ways, if I'm doorless hands going out and low, just all depends. I don't think anyone will criticize your wave, hah not trying to sound like an ass either
