I have had my Jeep for over two years and the wave is automatic now. I see i Wrangler, I wave. Sadly, this happens to me when I am driving my wife's Durango. Does this happen to you? How do you keep yourself from waving when are driving a non-Jeep?

I only drive my Jeep.

If for some reason I am driving my wife's Patriot I still wave.

I drive a work van all day and almost wave to every Jeep I see.


It's like it makes my day when someone waves to me in the Jeep. It's the simple things.

I drove my parents Expedition for a month and I waved to every Jeep I saw. I got one wave back. It's automatic don't try to fight it. Normally though I just drive my Jeep.

My only wave flaw is waving to other harleys when I'm in my JK, not on my bike.
I know they are thinking I must know them if I'm waving and not on a scooter also.

Haha x2, I get it mixed up aswell, waving to jeeps on my Harley and bikes in my jeep, glad I'm not the only one.

you should see the funny looks I get if I'm driving my wife's MINI and wave at a Jeep....being the x-biker I wave at them too....lol ....so I guess I'm jus considered "friendly" round here

Even when I'm in my Jeep and wave at other Jeeps,..... they don't wave back.
It's getting really frustrating. That was one of the things I liked most about owning a Jeep.

Had my JK for a little over a week now. Saturday and most of Sunday were top down days here and I'm happy to say I was 3 for 3 on the Jeep wave. Earlier in the week, not so much sucess. Guess the great weather had everyone in a good mood!
