Jeep Value's Up !!! What's Your's Worth ???
Thought this would be fun. Just for grins I recently went to Kelly Blue Book (KBB.com) to see what my Jeep was worth and was pleasantly surprised. Given the current economic condition of our country and several other factors it appears that some used vehicles have actually increased in value. I know Jeeps have always held value well but going to KBB put a smile on face. I actually have two Jeeps my 08' Sahara and my Wife's 11' RHD.
So for fun, list your purchase price and current value. Be honest when filling out your KBB information.
Here's my round about numbers.
my 08' Sahara purchased used in Dec. of 2010 listed in Excellent Condition.
Paid around $26k and put down $4k and currently owe around $18k.
Current KBB private party value around $29k and trade in around $27k.
My 2011 RHD doesn't give used values because its too new.
So...... Whats Your Jeep Worth ???

WTF! NICE!!!
I got mine for a steal at $18k with 12k miles.. I now have 15k and trade in value is $21,850 and private is $24,915
KBB estimator is obviously a Jeep owner

I like fact that they show the values up there but reality is that they are off.
In good condition mine is $28,500.00 or +$2,400.00
In excellent condition it's at $30,600 or +$4,500.00

It's only worth what someone will give you for it, and no one is going to pay a premium for a used vehicle. See the Jeep recycle section and your local craigslist.

Just wanted to note that the KBB "excellent" category means showroom condition, which most vehicles are not. "Good" is a realistic category to use, unless you've really messed up your Jeep.
