I can see your need for a truck. I love my Jeep but trucks are way more usefull.

I would reconsider on the Tundra though. Those things guzzle gas. I like all the new trucks out there but a Chevy or GMC will get you better mileage and has a 40k mile longer warranty than Toyota.

I hear ya but I'm not buying new there way to expensive. I keep going back and fourth to a 4dr cause I really like wranglers and ease to work on. Plus I have a fair amount into mine now which I could transfer to a new one.

So it's still up in the air

Jeep truck jeep truck jeep truck lol been down that road before. Trucks are bigger and roomier especially when it comes to kids I have 3 under 5! That being said they love the jeep it's just more fun. If you get the truck every time you see a jeep on the road you'll wonder in the back of your mind....why did I trade I could have made the jeep work. Get a 4 door and roll on. Or just buy the truck and trade it in on a 4 door this summer when you really start to miss it

^^^ LOL I like your thinking. I'm going to look at 4dr before I pull the trigger on this truck they seem like they have quite a bit of room even behind the back seats

If I was in your shoes I would get a 4 door jeep. If fact I was and I did. Having a newborn with a 2dr sucks. I got the 4 door when my baby was about 10 months old. Much better, but the backseats are cramped.

I had the same decision to make. I kept my 07 2 door until my daughter was 1, after messing around with the 2 door I switched to a 4 door. Been very happy so far. I thought about a truck but with the 4 door I can have my dog in the cargo area and 2 kids in the backseat. I cant do that in a truck as it is illegal here to have a dog in the box of a truck.

3 kids all under 5 fit in the 4 door just fine. Even made a 5 hour drive to NYC without killing each other, also I did the cargo rack mod for mine so plenty of space back there.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm leaning towards a 4dr and pretty sure that's going to be my route just cause I can swap over my mods and still be happy driving a manual. Also I love having a jeep.

Take a look under the rear seat on a 4 door, You have luggage space there on the 4 door that You dont have on the 2 door. Also there are more space under the front seats for stuff on the 4 door compared to the 2 door. I had a 2 door before and now I have a 4 door.

One thing I was surprised me about the JKU is that there are no heating vents in the rear.
