Well Ive seen this tailgate cover and I cant seem to find it anywhere. its a steel plate with JEEP stamped in it kind of like the old cj's or scramblers. It covers the whole tailgate of the jk for a spare tire delete...is anyone firmiliar with this or know where I might find it...ive seen a picture of it on this forum but cant seem to find it

I have seen photos of this in overseas markets, but nothing for sale in the US.

I think a vendor did something similar for a show rig. Essentially they used the sheetmetal from an old rig. Likely to be very pricey unless you can do your own bodywork.

If it is the one I am thinking of, it was only available in Japan. Someone tried to import them but had no luck.

The show Jeep you are thinking of was Lower Forty. Custom one from Jeep themselves.

Damn...i thought it might have been overseas thing...to nad I would love to have one...i think it would just be to expensive to get one custom done
