I have a Quest, use it in my Jeep and on my Harleys. I use a RAM mount for the bikes, works great. The only thing I've heard is that some people have had trouble with Quest II's hard drive due to vibration on the bikes, you need a good mount.

I had the dealership install it for me.. I took that dash apart afterwards and it looks pretty simple to do. I haven't taken it out of the Jeep yet. It worked right away.. (never used a tom tom) sorry..

I think I paid 750 for it.. They installed it for nothing.. The antenna is on the unit itself. it flips up from the back..

Do you guys/gals that own the Jeep Trail Guide keep it in the Jeep at all times or do you take it with you when you leave the Jeep?
I am trying to decide what would be the best GPS solution concerning ease of use and security. I really don't want something that I have to carry around with me every time I leave the Jeep. I am not completely sold on the MyGig due to not being able to utilize all of its features once installed in a Wrangler.

I have the hard top on now and have the windows tinted, I leave it in most of the time right now.. In the summer with the softtop I will probably just put it in the console and lock it up...
