Wasn't there supposed to be a special edition JK coming out this year for the 70th anniversary of jeep or something?

Anyone know any details yet?

 

I know new "improved" interior but nothing else so far.

i heard theres a couple of editions comming out for the 70th HILLBILLY SPECIAL.... simillated rust on the paint, fake patches on the soft top, burlap interior. mismatched tires., 5 inch lift, optional canvas water bag for the radiator . MIAMI EDITION..... white exterior only, white leather interior, lowering kit, super chome pkg, matching hard top, chome 22 inch wheels. all window limo tint, rear wheel drive only. burlwood dash.

 

I presume your kidding right haha I think they do have the chrome package though from the dealership but without the white hardtop lol

So I guess my JK is the Jeep Year 69 version hhahaha

 

It sounds as though there will be a 70th edition along with a artic edition. The islander and mountain are also supposed to carry forawrd. Of course this information is from threads here; so nothing 100% official yet.

 

I heard there was a "Thug Edition" The ass end of the jeep drags the ground being held on by a studded chrome belt , -3in springs and oblong tires on one side only so it has the lean and the bounce. Plus a safarie top shaped like a ballcap that only fits sideways.

 

70th edition, would be great, maybe a interior better for offroading/mudding and what not. just a thought

 

Probably just 70th Anniversary decals. There's already too many editions!
