got a recall letter for my 08 jk in the mail the letter says:
2007 - 2010 model year Jeep Wrangler vehicles.
The front fender liner on your vehicle may detach or sag allowing the fender liner to contact one of more brake tubes. Continuous fender liner contact with the brakes tubes could result in a hydraulic leak and reduce braking performance. The loss of braking performance could cause a crash without warning.
Crysler will repair your vehicle free of charge parts and labor.
Also ask you dealer about the following notifications. Our records indicate that your vehicle also requires repair for notifications:
J24
does any one know WTH is "J24"

As much as I love my Jeep, from what I've been reading on this forum in regards to Chryslers handling of issues from the dealer level all the way to the top, I can't say I would ever buy another vehicle from this company. Every company in general now days is so worried about making one more dollar everywhere they can, that they don't care about quality, employees or especially customers anymore. But we continually go back to these company's. Some times it's out of necessity but not most the time. America is in a bad way right now.
