Yeah I used the jack on the frame not thinking about it. In retrospect I should have started with it under the axle but once I had jacked up and had taken the flat tire off I was pretty much screwed when I couldn't get the spare on. It's not like I can take the jack out while it's missing a tire lol. I also picked up a flashlight today to keep in the jeep so I won't have that problem again.

This is why I make my daughters watch me do routine maintenance and the like....all four, yes...four daughters, are all under the age of 10.
The side of the road can be a bit intimidating for a dude, let alone a single female.
Glad you learned a few things and got off fairly easily!!
