Jeep did something strange today... ???
i was leaving work, walking out to the parking lot in the rain when i pressed my key less entry. as soon as i pressed it my horn sounded once, and as i opened the rear swing gate i realized that my sat radio is on and playing the station that i always listen to. the radio turned off a second later and the jeep cranked up just fine.
now, i know that with the "alarm" equipped your horn will sound upon unlocking the jeep if someone has tampered with your jeep while you were away. however, i think that it is supposed to sound more than once if this were the case, and also i doubt the radio would be playing.
also, i was out in the jeep about 1 hour prior to this, with no incident. so i know the radio wasn't somehow playing all day long.
anyway, has this ever happened to anyone before? did i somehow press my unlock in some combo that turns on the radio for you? should i be concerned?
thanks ahead of time.

I've got the same issue with the single honk on unlock (occasionally.)
The alarm thing appears to be multiple honks, so I think the single honk is a glitch. In another thread, someone thought the occasional single honk on unlock might have something to do with the previous lock (ie manually inside, etc.)
The radio thing is unique. I haven't heard of that one before. Sounds like a Stealership issue!
Good luck, and let us know what happens...

Mine did the same thing awhile back. I didn't even think anything of it cause it has only happened the one time. Maybe our Jeeps are trying to talk to us or are pissed that we leave them all alone by theirselves all day while we work.

Mine has done this as well. I was curious if the alarm had gone off while I was away but it is very unlikely where I work. I had a friend set off my alarm when the top was off to take a look at my new Linex and I just had to come out and turn it off. No funny honks but I did not let it stop by it self as it was late and did not want to disturb the neighbors.
It does this very infrequently and I did not notice the radio but did not look either.
