Makes me want to slap the taste out of the mouth of a tree hugger... I want a diesel JK; I might just have to stick a Duramax/Alli in my JK when it finds it's way home. Anyone care to loan me $10k.

Very Nice...
Actually, I found the article very informative on the relationship of the Corporate side of Jeep, and its relationship to the HMMWV. Interesting how it was the same company for that short time.
(Anyone selling used HMMWV, been looking for years now)

.... oh, also, anyone going to Egypt next year? If so, care to pick one up for me? I'm sure there's a way to get it to pass inspection
(Now to find a military friend overseas who can have their car shipped back stateside)

Yeah, this isn't super new "news" - we've seen pics of the Egyptian military and several prototypes on U.S. roads near Chrysler test sites. I'd like a diesel option when my JK won't run anymore, because that's as soon as I'll part with my current Jeep.
So - will the new nickname for the vehicle be "Jate"?
