Default Update

I forgot to remind everyone that my JK is a right hand drive and I want a new rhd so the prices are different from normal jks. I went to a local dealer today and got offered almost 7K under bluebook because of the mods to my jk. I wanted to know what I could get swapping everything back to stock and using the rims, tires, and front bumper off the new one. All they talked about was how they couldn't sell it because the tires were too big....
That dealership is focused on toyotas and doesn't have but two jks on the lot and no RHD's. I'm going to make a trip to the dealer I purchased mine from on my day off next week and hopefully get better results. They are a real jeep dealer that has dozens of jks on their lot.
I don't understand why the dealer isn't up for taking new rims, tires, and front bumper and swapping them onto my trade. I told them I'd swap the my aftermarket coils, shocks, intake, etc. with the stock take offs myself

I don't want a first year pentastar motor. I think one mpg more isn't worth giving up hp and taking a shot on the quality of a first year motor. I do however want a new vehicle and I like the new interiors a lot.

The price of a RHD JK Unlimited is around $29,000 no feature options available so the price is set. The resale value of RHD's is slightly higher than LHD's because of the rarity. Dealers don't stand to make much because the price is set and trade ins might hang out on the lot awhile, but the last dealer had a buyer looking for a used RHD...

The ride is a lot smoother than my Unlimited sport and when i go over small pot holes at 35mph my back end doesnt skip anymore. The acceleration of the Rubicon running the 4:10 gears is way better than the 3:73 on the Sport, when i press the pedal there is no delay immediate response and better acceleration. When i exit out of steep drive ways i dont get as much body roll either.

I got the dealership to change over my bumper, EVAP skid plate, Airaid CAI and my Bushwacker bug guard. The dealership was even going to install my windshield lights, CB and my Painless Aux Fuse box but i stopped them because with the redesign of the 2011 interior i wanted to plan things out in my head first. Like where to put my switches and especially my CB. The dealership wanted to install the viper throttle body i had on my Sport but told them to hold off on it until i break in the new engine. They even gave me back all the switch i drilled into the "A" pillar, which i slightly butchered.

At the dealership where i bought my last two JK's, you look over the used car lot section and they have a crap load of MOD'd JK's for sell. If your having that much of a problem just switch everything back to factory and keep the after market parts. look up riveroakscars .com and at their used section you will see what im talking about.
