I've been keeping track for the past year using an app on my phone and combined mpg is 20.2 in a mix of city-hwy driving. I can push it up to 23 on the hwy. My Jeep is stock, though.

Well now I'm glad I saved 7 grand and bought an 11, I get 18.2 city with the A/C on, 19 without, and 22 on the highway. Bone stock 3.21/6 speed.

LOL no improvement at all, glad I' did't sit around in hopes of some Holy Grail engine that made rainbows turn into bacon cheeseburgers and instantly gave me 40mpg with 37's.

40mpg, rainbows into cheeseburgers? That's a high expectation for any engine.. Fuel mileage may be close but it's got more power and more torque, way more. Let's not forget that. I'm sure you'll wish you would have waited when your neighbors 2012 shows up.

my neighbors all drive Toyota's, Mini's and Honda's... cept one dude who rolls around in an SRT pickup. Which is why he's the only neighbor I talk shop with.
