Insurance on your Jeep?
I was wondering which insurance company members seem to like best for their Jeep?
Many companies rank cars differently: whether they are likely to be stolen or likely to keep passengers safe, etc. I didn't know if there was a "Friend of the Jeep" insurer out there that people really like.
1. Pricing?
2. How much coverage are you carrying?
3. Have you ever had them handle a claim and were they successful (and hassle free enough)?
THANKS,
Dj

My card is in the Jeep so I'll post more tomorrow...
State Farm (Atlanta, Georgia area)
1. $52 a month
2. Full coverage (I'll get the details up tomorrow)
3. No claims.

State Farm
$347.15 a year
Full coverage
$250 Deductible
Discount for Home and second car also
I got rear ended and pushed into the Ford Explorer in front of me. I paid SF my $250 and they handled everything. They even got my deductible back for me from the other insurance companies.

Full coverage, $250 deduct.
I pay about $50 a month for the Jeep, I have a ton of speeding tickets, discount for multiple vehicles and home owners. Same policy as my fiancee, she has a bunch of wrecks, never had a problem making a claim at all.
I must also add that they have been great to work with, they have paid for all our hurricane evacuation expenses without any hassles, and we never even had to file a claim. They just cut us a check for the "average household evacuation expense" which was above and beyond what it actually cost us.

I know that your credit score has alot to do with the cost of your insurance! bad credit=high premiums....also seat belt tickets= high premiums.....thats the two biggest variables for insurace....well the age under 25 for a boy and under 21(i think) for a girl
I understand the seat belt thing because if you speed so what....but if you have an accident and not wearing a seatbelt and chances are that your injurys might be worse....
I AM Not preaching about seatbelts or highjacking the site but just letting people know what ive learned
