State Farm told me to keep the receipt and take a picture of it installed, so if it's vehicle is stolen I can prove it was installed/on the vehicle at the time of the theft.

insurance
Thanks for the help, went with progressive through USAA, Found out that progressive needed to know that it was less than 4" and it was registered for on road use. Those of you with over 4" might want to check your coverage.
thanks again

state farm and USAA. just checked out on USAA and they said yup. and i second the picture thing. i do that every so often to all my stuff. i take photos of serial numbers of big ticket items and photos of each room in my house then i do video walk through (also of my vehicles). then send them photos and video to you email account or putt hem on a separate hard drive in a protected are (fire proof safe, or better yet at work)

I have my Jeep insured thru Alstate and have all my mods insured.
I gave my agent a spreadsheet with all parts that I had on it, and told him that I do wheel it.
Alstate's underwriters wrote me a new policy that has my Jeep insured for up to $60K. Insurance went up $15 per month. I have right at $20K on the Jeep.
