State Farm told me to keep the receipt and take a picture of it installed, so if it's vehicle is stolen I can prove it was installed/on the vehicle at the time of the theft.

Thanks for the help, went with progressive through USAA, Found out that progressive needed to know that it was less than 4" and it was registered for on road use. Those of you with over 4" might want to check your coverage.

thanks again

I have Progressive but they charge more if you add mods.

USAA - you qualify as a Veteran and you won't beat their coverage and rates.

This is pretty much true. Any military veteran now qualifies for USAA and there isn't a legitimate auto insurer that can touch their rates.

Ofcourse I wasn't in the US military, but did fight for US interests in the past.

I have my Jeep insured thru Alstate and have all my mods insured.
I gave my agent a spreadsheet with all parts that I had on it, and told him that I do wheel it.
Alstate's underwriters wrote me a new policy that has my Jeep insured for up to $60K. Insurance went up $15 per month. I have right at $20K on the Jeep.
Allot of the time if you are a child of a former military member you can get in on USAA. I have had them for years and are great!
