The recall notice that Roysrig posted is for a 2010 and they claim the 2009 started the fire. Wonder what the difference in skid plate design was. I would like to know how they could ever prove that also.
Up here in Canada if I go wheeling and when I entered the area there were no fire bans then claims against me or the manufacturer, for starting a fire, would be void. Different story if there were bans and I entered.

As mentioned the year is 2009 not 2010. It seems like a big stretch to tie these together. Many times it is cheaper, and quicker to eliminate the bad press, by simply settling. Interesting to find out how this turned out.

We pay for it though R/J. Back in 2008 one could buy 2 Rubicons with one as a backup because they were so cheap. Now not so. C'mon Bronco lets get some competition out there.
