Default Instatrunk, soft top and clover patch

Anyone using this combination on a 2Dr JK? I'm thinking of getting the instatrunk for laptops etc...but want to make sure it will still allow the softtop to go down far enough. Then the clover patch would go on top of that to clean it up a bit. I'm new, to Jeeps (4 days now) so forgive me if I'm not making any sense.

Thanks

Chris

I was using that exact setup on a 4dr. I had no problem getting the soft top down with this config. I recently swapped out the instatrunk for the flexatrunk for more space in the back.

I found that the clover patch and rolling the windows in general damaged the ones for my TJ. The belt rail that snaps into the body of the Jeep is rigid and doesn't like to be bent. It remembers the rolled shape and bows funny when you put it back on sometimes popping out more. It also wrinkles the windows. This of course depends on how long you leave it rolled up. I was leaving it multiple days at a time. I don't mean to spread fear because many use it without problems. I just through that out there. I think with the JK and the "u" shaped piece at the front that this would be more of a problem. My solution was to take the back seat out permanently and leave the windows flat in the back. You have to be careful with that too, because the sun will bind the plastic windows together where they are really hard to get apart. And that wrinkles them also. If you keep them covered with a blanket or something, they don't fly out and the sun doesn't get them. I used to keep my CJ ones rolled up in a towel under the seat.

The clover patch is the best thing next to sliced bread. I have had no issues with mine and highly recommend it.
