Default Infant Car Seat??

I am bringing home my third boy today and I am wondering what rear facing car seats other 4 door unlimited owners are using.

For today I have this: Chicco Cortina System

I haven't had a chance to install it but I'm concerned it may be too big.

EDITED:

This has to be the shortest lived thread (with real info in it) ever.. I installed the base and carrier and it fit perfectly in the center of the rear seat with room on both sides for my boosters for my older boys.

I guess this thread will be good for the next JK'er searching for a seat.

I have a two door and the Britax Roundabout fits quite nicely. It's goes from rear to forward facing. And it's made in the USA.

I had an Evenflo rear facing seat in the middle (similar to the Chicco that you have) for our son, and the 2 girls on either side (one forward facing, and one booster). It was a tight fit, but they all made it.

He is now in a forward facing seat, and we had to put the booster in the middle. It was just easier because of the LATCH points.

We have the same setup, however, the base it too big to work in the Jeep. The base is awesome in my wifes Durango.

The chicco worked out great. I brought the little man home yesterday. We actually took the red chicco back and got the squares pattern chicco (darker color) to match the interior of the jeep and her car.

So, yes the Chicco setup with the base does fit perfectly.

rustler211, why did you say the base didnt fit in your jeep?
