Important info for all new jeep owners
My jeep has been in the shop numerous times for same issues over and over, so finally i took some advice and filed a lemon law suit. It all was good but the lawyer told me he could only get me $2000 due to the failure of the dealership to note everything they looked at. I have a friend that works for a dealership and he told me they dont usually note it on the work order if they looked at something and did not find anything (like they do all the time) if you have anything looked at even if they say they could not find it get it in writing and keep it for your records you never know if you will need it. My issues were mostly due to the dealer not wanting to fix obvious issues like my suspension bottoming out with a small push of a hand on the bumper.

My jeep has been at the dealership several times for over a week at a time.
What qualifies as a Lemon?
What about a BUY BACK?
How can I stop paying for the jeep?
I mean I love it, don't get me wrong, but there is so much stuff wrong with it.
It's currently at the dealership for a faulty gearbox that is leaking.

Can you bypass the dealer and go directly to Chrysler? There is a new culture taking hold where the customer is everything and they might be more amenable than the dealer, who really has no affiliation with Chrysler.

Once you go for lemon law they go directly to the manufacturer. The dealer doesn't even know you have a lawyer.
ALSO>>> to the original poster. They tried that with me. I told the lawyer I will never settle for anything where they ( the lawyers ) make more than me. I am dealing with the problem I should get some money. At first I was going to get 1000 bucks, I said no way I'll just drop it. The lawyer went back and got me 3500 and got themselves 3 grand. Funny thing is that if Jeep dealt with me like they should have instead of blowing me off it would have cost them less.
Before my money came from the lawyer I already traded that Jeep in for another.
AND... the money was not an admission that there was a problem. It was payment to cover my time and money I spent so I would drop the lawsuit. I would have held out for more but As I said I was already trading it in.
