Well, this is irritating. I know that I sucessfully turned it off because during that entire drive, when engaging the clutch, I would predictably roll forward or back. But after that drive the following day, as soon as I turned it back on, the "hill assist" pause occurred. Since it was so complicated to turn off, I couldn't have accidentally turned it back on. Unless I was under the influence of Ambien (a Tiger Woods moment) I would have remembered.

When my husband gets back with MY Jeep , I'll try it again.

Read the owner's manual? It's really not that complicated, but then again i have the connectivity pckg with evic. Very easy to control from the controls on the sterring wheel.

Ok. You did NOT just say that to me...big breath. You said it yourself: You have the connectivity package. If you will read my previous posts, I did NOT order that option in my build. MY owners manual, that I did read states that I have to do the steering wheel dance.
