I googled JK and this forum came up so what the hell i registered and created a post yet I still get 'bashed'

my apologies for not knowing the "OBVIOUS" place.

half doors are not an option on the 2dr X with B package, but are an option with the C or S packages. all of this info and more is on jeep.com.
all this package info does not appear on (in my case) jeep.ca
hence my confusion

Try living in the desert of California without AC. You can do it but who would want too.

To each their own, but there ARE buyers for such "luxury" features as A/C and Power Windows/Locks.

If even the most basic, no-frills model is too much luxury for you, then you can rip out the carpeting and replace the seats with cinder blocks or something. Oh - but leave the stock headrests - you'll like those for sure!
so rather than help me purchase a jeep lets all just argue

Jeep.com will have all the options listed and so will jeepwarehouse.com and you can get a price quote also.

everyone here is trying to help you. no one is bashing you. you, unfortunately, aren't trying to help yourself. THAT is what's causing you trouble. do yourself a favor and go to jeep.com, click on jeep wrangler, play around with the "equip & price" page and see what options come with which packages; you can even see pictures of most available options. this little bit of research will answer 100% of your questions. OJMiles and i have already answered them, but because you haven't already done your own research it means nothing to you, rendering our answers useless.

Go to Jeep.ca, click "Wrangler" at the top left, then click "Build and Price" on the left.

This link might also work: http://www-5.jeep.ca/vehsuite/ModelS...ler&lang=en-ca

Going through all of those different options is how I learned. Good luck.

Also make sure you are hitting "Additional model preferences" to see the different packages.

you're mistaken. i went to jeep.ca, clicked on Wrangler on the upper left side, then clicked "Build and Price" in the same area. the X model was pre-selected. Below that, i clicked "Additional Model Preferences". There, when you click "Details" next to the package, it gives you a rundown of what extras are included. it seems that the "C" package isn't available for order in Canada. then you click "Next". from there you can choose colors. there's another branch of options if you click "Select a roof colour". Click "Next" again when finished there, it'll take you to the accessories page. this whole time, on the upper right-hand side of the page, you can see a picture of what the jeep will look like, to include the full doors, soft-top, and the wheels. near the bottom, once again, there's a branch of options if you click "More option categories". there, you can select the 4.10 axle ratio you desire.

again, i'm not trying to belittle you - just trying to get you to form a basic foundation of understanding by using the most basic resources. when i get rid of my 55" TV and want to get a more manageable 42" TV, i'll probably go to sony.com rather than google a forum. once i have a basic understanding of the product and have exhausted my query resources, then perhaps i'll go asking around. smell what i'm cookin?
